Could the new Green Energy Certification Scheme, announced yesterday be the end to the complicated and confusing ‘green’ electricity market and boost demand for renewables in the UK? Lets hope so… the new website for the scheme already includes some UK electricity tariffs that have been independently checked, and meet the energy regulator Ofgem’s Green Energy Supply Guidelines, and so is a good resource for those looking to switch to ‘green’ electricity.
