just back from greenbelt and a week with family… Greenbelt highlights were watching Matthew Herbert Big Band (the album ’score’ of which i’ve added to my wishlist!) and Daby Touré on mainstage, worship sessions by Moot and Contemplative Fire, as well as *Lunch not included by Grace, and listening to Aradhna play.
…probably best of all though was wandering round bumping into people we’ve not seen for ages… and having profound conversations with those people that made us stop and think.
The best quote I heard was:

After camping in the mud, we headed to a redundant Priory, which due to it’s remoteness, survived the Dissolution of the Monasteries… and spent a few days with family. One of the things we spent doing was trying to work out what the short version of ‘my wife’s brother-in-law’ should be… we decided on simply ‘brother’… and whilst perusing the ‘official greenbelt pictures‘ on flickr I just came across him, so here he is… Jonathan my third brother.
talking of brothers… one of my other brothers is getting married this weekend… so we’re off to Cambridgeshire to celebrate!
